Standard consultation rates are $260
MEDICARE REBATE
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per consultation if you are referred by a GP under a Mental Health Care Plan or by a psychiatrist. Currently, rebates are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Unless you wish to claim these rebates you do not need a GP or psychiatrist referral to access support. HEALTH INSURANCE REBATE
Contact your private health insurance provider to find out if they offer part rebates for psychological consultations.
